The year 2008 will mark Camp Kara’s 15th year!!!

“Kara” is a Greek word meaning “joy.” Camp Kara’s motto is

“Rejoice in the Lord.” It is the desire of the staff that

campers will come to know this joy as

they make friends and develop new skills

in an outdoor setting.

CAMP PURPOSE

The camp operates to provide a positive concentrated

Christian experience for youth.

It is our desire to show the greatness of God’s creation

and the effectiveness of Biblical values in daily living,

and strive to introduce young people

to Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
